To make a reservation
On-line reservations can be made anytime. To secure a reservation, we request 10% of the total amount of the booking in order to approve the authenticity of the credit card details. Subsequently, we send the confirmation of booking to your e-mail address in 24 hours.
If you cancel before 12 noon three days prior to the start of your booking there will be no charge, and any deposit already paid will be refunded.
Should no cancellation notice be received we reserve the right to charge 100% of the booking cost.
Telephone reservations can be made between 9.00am and 9.00pm. Please have the following information ready:
* Name and contact telephone number
* Start date and number of nights required.
* Type of room you require (standard or en-suite; single/double/twin/family; ground floor or other specific requirement)
To confirm the booking you will also need to:
EITHER: Send us a deposit of 50% of the booking (cheques made payable to 'Wensum Guest House'). We will expect to receive the cheque within 3 days, and your booking will not be confirmed until we have received it. We cannot accept deposits by cheque payment unless you book at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the booking.
OR: Provide us with credit card details over the telephone. We do not charge anything to the card at the time of the booking, and we will only use it in the event of a late cancellation (see below). You do not have to use the card to pay us.
We accept payment in any of the following ways:
* Cash
* Credit or debit card
* Cheque supported by a cheque guarantee card covering the full amount of the payment
* Travellers cheques in pounds sterling
For bookings of 6 nights or less: if you cancel before 12 noon three days prior to the start of your booking there will be no charge, and any deposit will be refunded.
Should no cancellation notice period is given we reserve the right to charge 100% of the booking cost.
